Similar to Ali and the Shifrin who last used it, the arrow is straight and inflexible. The last Shifrin arrow is located in a box in the king’s chambers. The King shows the Last Shifrin arrow to Ali in order to illustrate his point that such inflexibility is detrimental to one’s well-being.
