The Case for Faith manuscript symbolizes the hope for faith. When Strobel completes the manuscript, he decides he will mail it to Templeton in the hope that Templeton’s doubts will be assuaged and that he will turn back toward the faith he himself admits he misses. The manuscript in this respect is meant to remind readers at large that it is only natural to have doubts, but still be Christian.
