I DONT KNOW FUCK U GUYS ALONG WITH CHAUCER
As a poet Chaucer is brilliant in the way that he is able to write 'between the lines' and suggest certain truths and ribald obervanes about the pilgrims without coming out and saying so. The Wife of Bath is a prime example of this. He also introduces some of the earliest political satire in the English lanaguage. His humor is palpable as he describes the various perspectives of his day.
