Who is Riva Minska from The Cage?

In the novel, thirteen year old, Riva Minska, is a young Jewish girl living in Poland during the Nazi regime. After her mother is taken by soldiers, Riva (now sixteen) took over the care of her younger brothers. She was incarcerated in a number of concentration camps but survived her ordeal. The Cage is her story.
