Chapter 5 Breadwinner

Mrs. Weera is a busybody. She shows up at Paravana's home simply to tell her mother what happened at the market. Weera is judgemental and quite intimidating. She is, however, a caring woman, who takes the family under her wing. Her intent is to stir Parvana's mother and get her to function.
