In Chapter 11, compare and contrast the Candy Man with Mr. Ray. How are they similar? How are they different?

Mr. Ray chose to use his guilt and compassion for good... he becomes Matt's mentor and friend, he looks out for him.

Candy Man, however, allowed his guilt to consume him. He used drugs to alleviate the guilt, and in turn, lost control of his own life.
