Who is Hans Holbien from The Boleyn Inheritance?

Hans Holbein was a reknown Dutch painter. He created the portrait of Anne of Cleves that was provided to Henry VIII prior to his consenting into a marital contract. Anne looked nothing like her portrait, something that caused Holbein to fall out of favor with Henry.
