Where does this book take place?

The novel is set in a mystical land, and numerous locations are mentioned. The main continent is a place called Daria. Harry is born in the town of Home and sent to live in the town in Istan after her father's death. Harry later travels to the Ossander Mountains and the Kingdom of Damar.... and finally to The City.
