What is Kino's father's response when Kino says he doesn't think that Jiya can ever be happy again?

Though he stops crying, Kino is still sad and frightened, and when he asks what they will say to Jiya when he wakes, his father says they will not talk; they will give him food and make him understand he has a home on the farm. Kino's father has always wanted another son, and Jiya will be that son. They will help him understand what happened as soon as he knows this is his home.
