Following his questioning by the Security Police, while walking away from the Ministry of Defense with Volodya, Frank spots Lisa and the children across the square. He promptly abandons Volodya, terminating their discussion, and makes his way through the crowds to them. Frank's children beg him to allow them to go with Lisa to their dacha. He decides that it will be all right so long as they go for only a few days.
