They are very rude little boys and are quick to say that they are glad the Baudelaire children are leaving. They complain that Violet and Klaus are no fun and that Sunny bites. It is clear that neither of the boys is sympathetic about the fact that Violet and Klaus have lost their home and all their possessions.
