Explain the mood of the Baudelaire children in the beginning of Chapter 2 after they have learned of their parents' deaths.

All the children seemed to have lost interest in the things that they had loved before. Violet doesn't want to think up new inventions and Klaus doesn't want to read. Even Sunny doesn't get excited about biting things as she had before. The children are obviously depressed.
