Describe the scene where Violet is walking down the stairs to do the play, The Marvelous Marriage, in Chapter 11.

Violet is walking down the stairs when she suddenly looses her footing. It is here that Violet reaches out and catches herself with her right hand. In doing this she spurred a train of thought within herself. She thinks 'harder than she had in her entire life' although the reader isn't told what her thoughts are.
