This scrap of paper with an English address serves as a symbol of Charlie’s deviation from her mother’s wishes. Charlie’s mother has brought her overseas so they can see a doctor who will end Charlie’s pregnancy. Charlie, however, has a different idea about her trip to England. She uses it as a way to continue her search for Rose.
