In The Acharnians Euripidies is depicted as very self-important. He barely has time to come to the door when Diakaiopolis calls on him, and has to be wheeled out by a slave. Though Diakaiopolis harasses Euripides for multiple objects, Euripides becomes very irate. He clearly just wants to sit on his couch and write.
