At the end of the play, Strepsiades is tearing down The Thinkery. Socrates, Chaerephon, and the students flee for their life as stones are thrown at them. Finally, the Leader of The Chorus of The Clouds says, "Lead the way out: we've done, I think I'd say/Sufficient choral service for today."
