Do you think that Roger changes form a thief to a law abiding citizen?

I think that Roger learns his lesson. Over the course of the story, we learn that Roger is young and really doesn't know any better. Mrs. Jones' quick response came a shock and confused him even more..... she handled the situation perfectly.
