What is Adam's job in Chapter 5, and where would he rather work instead?

Adam works at a call-in center for army retirees who need help figuring out their benefits. Adam is constant looking for another job. He would like to be a forester or a park ranger. If it paid enough, he would like to work at a golf course. He wants a job where he can work outside.
