In your opinion do you agree about Rebecca not telling Beck about the fake car accident?

In my opinion, Rebecca should have told the truth about what happened. She should have asked Elizabeth what really happened. She should have refused to lie for her, particularly, since she is give no explanation for the request. Elizabeth told Rebecca that if anyone asked, Rebecca was to say that they'd been in Rebecca's car at the time of the accident, but she doesn't ask why. Why does Rebecca follow Elizabeth's lead.... and why is she so easily manipulated?
