In Intermission, Chapter 1, what did Aimee help create?

Aimee decided that girls in Africa needed schools. So she went to Africa and got the project rolling to build a school for schoolgirls. She laid the foundation stone with the help of a village elder, and she promoted the project and got funding for it.
