What happens at PawPaw's store when the nuclear attacks begin?

When the nuclear attacks begin, missiles are launched from the cornfields around PawPaw's store. The launches cause gas tanks to explode, injuring PawPaw. Josh manages to get everyone into the shelter just before the ceiling caves in.
