What metaphors are used in Surrealism by ?

A majority of surrealist poetry relies on figurative images.... images that are conveyed by metaphors, similes, or other forms of figurative language, all of which employ ordinary words in a manner that imparts a new meaning.

Example from Eluard:

There are demolitions sadder than a penny

Indescribable and yet the sun moves away from them singing

While the sky dances and makes its honey.
