Elvis meets with several people who claim to know something about the murder of Susan Martin. He is tracking leads from the tip line that Jonathan Green set up. The first person he sees is Floyd Thomas. Mr. Thomas speaks about himself in third person telling Elvis, "Floyd Thomas saw exactly what happened." He then goes on to talk about how he was in an orb above the Encino reservoir and describes men in black suits who were holding this woman. Mr. Thomas also claims that the kidnappers work for the government. Elvis does not take his claims seriously and promptly leaves. Ms. Bonell is next and Elvis has a brief meeting with her. She claims that lesbians are behind the kidnapping of Susan Martin. She overhead this at a hair salon. Cole quickly dismisses her claims and meets with Mrs. Reese, who is an elderly woman. Elvis quickly determines that she is simply alone and lonely and wants someone to talk to.
