When Joe and Elvis go to see Angela Rossi after they see Mrs. Earle and Green on the news, she immediately defends herself and says that she did not frame anyone. She has hollow cheeks and dark eyes. Elvis insists that they will help clear her name but Rossi tells them that she is done with the job. She feels that even if her named is cleared, these accusations will continue to follow her. Joe and Elvis offer to help her fight these accusations and Rossi tells them she is going to resign from her job.
