What causes the argument between Jonesy and Sergeant Harris in Chapter 10?

In the beginning of Chapter 10, Jonesy and Sergeant Harris get into an argument while watching a cop film with prostitutes in it; Harris comments that most women are nothing more than whores, and Jonesy claims he needs to show more respect, as his mother is also a woman.
