Who is Walker Dupree from Stotan! and what is their importance?

Walker Dupree, Stotan!, is a senior and the captain of the swim team in Spokane, Washington. He has an older borther who is more than 15 years older than he is. Walker doesn't like his older brother, John, much because he is a drug user and pusher. Walker's parents are of the hands off variety, and so, Walker has had to raise himself. He is involved with a long time girl friend named Devnee, but likes a girl named Elaine.
