Abe and Sarah are devastated after the loss of their daughter. Sarah can hardly function, and leaves Abe to make most of the arrangements, so consumed with grief that she is unable to function as yet. Their lives have become a series of memories, and a list of seemingly impossible tasks that must be accomplished.
