Inside their mother, twins are nestled in a womb. Edgar is larger than his brother, and has no desire beyond taking all of the nourishment his mother has to provide, thereby sucking the life from his fraternal twin. Edward is smaller, embraced by Edgar spine to belly, with Edgar's forehead pressed against his neck.
