Where does the council put Kahlan and what does she do about it?

After they have taken that from her they throw her in a pit with rapists and the men begin to attack Kahlan. They talk about the queen that they raped recently and Kahlan knows it was her half-sister. She is able to convince them that she will be a willing participant if they will take her one at time rather than all at once. She fights to find her magic knowing that no matter what a wizard does the only way to remove magic from a person is to skin them alive. Just as one of the men is about to rape her she is able to use her magic to take control of his mind and she orders him to protect her.
