Where does Kahlan go when she leaves the Mud People and what happens to her sister?

Kahlan tries to make her way to Aydindril. Three warriors from the Mud People's village have accompanied her to keep her safe, Chandalen, Prindin, and Tossidin. They stop on the way to Aydindril and find that Queen Cyrilla's entire kingdom has been attacked. All the men and children were killed and the women were raped for days and then killed.
