Where are Zedd and Addie in Chapter 57, what has happened to them and what will help them recover?

Zedd and Addie awake in a carriage with no memory of who they are or what they were doing. The driver tells Zedd that he and Addie were very sick and three sorceresses healed them but had to take away their memories in order to do it. Zedd and Addie will have to have a traumatic emotional experience to regain their magic and memories.
