What does the Imperial Army intend to do about the world and what do they do with Kahlan? What is her response?

They tell Kahlan they fight so everyone can be under the same rule. If a group of people refuses to sign under their flag, then those people are killed. They try to take Khalan captive and tell her she will be beheaded. Kahlan is able to kill the Wizard Slagle before she escapes and heads back towards her camp and the Galean soldiers.
