Jason's health is declining rapidly and he wants Tyler to inject him with the Martian Drug, even though the effect on humans is untested. Tyler takes Jason to the Big House of the Lawtons. The doctor injects Jason with the Martian drug and stays by his side for a few days without sleeping.
