Both Jason and Tyler wonder what the Hypotheticals (the name given to the fictional Alien race possibly responsible for the Spin) aimed to accomplish with the Spin. What do you think may be accomplished?

There is a general consensus that humankind is moving towards the eventual global decimation of the natural world through pollution, industry and technology. Perhaps the aliens are trying to slow things down so humans have time to "fix" some of the problems associated with "progress."
