Who is Thomas Nolan?

Thomas Nolan is Brooke’s middle brother. Although Brooke was not aware until Gina unintentionally told her, Thomas walked in on David one night when he was raping Brooke. David had asked Thomas if he liked what he saw and raped him as well. Brooke had no knowledge of what had happened because she tended to black out when her father was raping her. At the end of the novel, Brooke gets a card from Thomas, who is about to be released from jail, thanking her for everything she did for the family.
