Mr. Freeman can tell that Melinda is in a funk, so he gives her a book featuring reprints of various Picasso paintings. Melinda is not crazy about Picasso's early works, but falls quickly and completely in love with Cubism. She draws a Cubist tree and both she and Mr. Freeman are delighted by her project.
