Narcissim is evident in the actual title. An additional place where this occurs is in the beginning: I CELEBRATE myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
Many have called this continued reference to himself as self serving and arrogant, but saying that is fairly shallow considering the real intent is to show that he embraces the fact that everything and everyone are connected. So, he really is celebrating everyone by celebrating himself. As a visionary, his forward thinking is in the way that he sees all people on the globe as one tribe, not a gathering of individual nations and continents.
