Why does Darcy reject her childhood friend, Annalise's, first suggestion about her situation?

Annalise suggests that Darcy move home to Indianapolis. Although Darcy thinks her hometown is fine for Annalise, she imagines herself as leading a more exciting life. Furthermore, Darcy and her parents are still on bad terms from the fight during the weekend visit with Marcus.
