Why does Darcy ask Ethan for a night out with him and to meet his friends?

Darcy is hoping that Ethan will have good-looking single friends that can help fulfill her London fantasy. She purposely picks clothes to hide her pregnancy and dolls herself up in the hopes of snagging a good catch.
