What is Josh Collins' concern with Robin Dempsey's frequent presence in the Computer Centre?

Robin Dempsey has been spending inordinate amounts of time at the Computer Centre, "talking" with ELIZA. Not only does this somewhat disturb Josh Collins' routine and the solitude he enjoys at work, but he is concerned about Dempsey's almost obsessive communication with this non-human entity--he calls it transference, claiming he looked it up in a psychology text.
