Why does Armpit get angry with X-Ray, and how does X-Ray respond?

Armpit buys a paper and discovers that X-Ray is advertising the tickets at $135. Armpit calls him angrily and demands that the price be lowered, but X-Ray tells him he's just had an offer at that price. Armpit agrees to leave the price as it is.
