On the Friday morning of the proposed trip to San Francisco, Armpit wakes up having made his decision. He feels guilty about letting down his boss and about blowing off his economics final, but he reasons that a chance to spend a weekend with someone like Kaira doesn't come along very often and resolves to take that chance.
