How does Kurt Vonnegut use imagery in Slapstick: Or, Lonesome No More!?

Vonnegut uses descriptive imagery to describe the children as they are growing up.... the way they are dressed up in beautiful clothing with nowhere to go.... just like dressing up dolls in a dollhouse.
