Who is Gamina from Silverthorn and what is their importance?

Gamina is a little girl, who is described as being around seven years old. The only way she can communicate is through her mental powers because she is unable to speak. The villagers are afraid of her, kill her parents, and drive her into the forest. Rogen finds her there and cares for her. They journey many miles before reaching Pug's school. After Gamina sees the dark evil one, she shares the vision with Pug and the others.
