Squire cass is a very respected person of raveloe and is short tempered.nothing us more important for him except his pride whereas Godfrey,his elder son obeys him and is afraid of him.he fears to tell him about his marriage with molly which makes his situation worse than ever .Dunstan, his younger son is an evil.he doesn't have a feeling of respect for anyone and can do anything to get what he needs .he is very desperate and blackmails Godfrey about telling his father the secret of his marriage and takes money from him
