Blue jeans were originally worn by American miners and laborers. Jeans went through a cultural transformation over the past century. While they bridge the work-leisure gap, they have become symbols in many forms. They no longer represent a classless form of dress since wearing designer jeans gives a person a different projected image as opposed to wearing a generic and inexpensive pair of jeans bought from a local superstore.
