Who is Peter?

Peter is Sarah's husband. He was projected to be a very successful screenwriter, but in 1999, his career has not gone as planned, as his scripts keep getting stuck in development. His ego is somewhat bruised by this, especially in conjunction with Sarah's unexpected success as a producer. He stays with Sarah after learning of her affair.
