Sigmund freuds psychoanalytic theories still have some relevance today as per pschotherapeutic benefits of medical therapies in the field of psychiatry, but the fact remains that the aspect of that theory, defining dreams as expressions of a confused subconscious minds of disturebed individuals can no longer hold water as of today.
Dreams are not limited to disturbed minds, they are universally applicable to all human beings.
Dreams are not expression of the subconscious, but are guided directives of the supernatural to believeing or receptive or prepared minds capable of deciphering or interpreting them correctly. It is based on anagreement on how the world should be run between faithful believers of all religions and God.So they are not even limited to any one religion.
Dreams can also if correctly interpreted predict with 100% accuracy future or yet to be known event and here lies its benefit in securing ones decisions as well as activities from harmful folks.
It is not per say opposing sigmund freud as you see it but rather a clarification of the true meaning and value of dreams to human life especially in todays world where crime has taken a very unprecedented levels throwing jeopardy at the very door steps of even the very cautious fellow.
