How do you believe Siddhartha would feel about the way that Buddhism has developed over time?

i ave a question for you guys do you think that he would be proud of how buddhism is and how it developed overtime or would he be disappointed on how its done

I think he would approve of Buddhism in the classic Eastern Tradition. The discipline and simple ascetic existence is in the lives of Buddhist Monks is in line with the book. I'm not sure what Siddhartha would say about new age Buddhism and spirituality which lacks the discipline and sacrifice of traditional Buddhism.
