Jack Lorey is a character in the story, 'Torch Song.' Originally from Ohio, Jack moves to New York. He is in his mid-thirties. When he meets Joan Harris, Jack finds a friend for life. Unfortunately, his marriages aren't quite as successful as his friends ships. Jack marries twice, has one child..... a son, and joinds the miltary. In the end, he learns that his good friends Joan is a vampire.
